existence is illusion

funeral anguish
insatiable darkness

and torn skin
the enchanted pain

that the earth devours

where the wood rots
and the marble crown
under the humid soil
that the return prevents

there you will be
in the violet garden
under a palm of gravel
and the pale statues

it is the tomb of man
paradise of tears
where despair
is the gloomy hope

Persephone observes
from the top of the throne

impalpable emptiness

and life disappears
insensitive cries

the macabre smell

Il Giardino Violetto nasce a Roma nel 1988. I suoni sono acidi e ripetitivi e le atmosfere gotiche e sepolcrali. Viene registrato nel 1989 il primo ed unico demotape «Danse Macabre» Il demo è stato stampato su CD dall’etichetta «In The Nightime» (NT002) nel 2004.
